"Based on the Concepts of
Charity, Unity and Fraternity"
Welcome to
Boonville Council 1061
History
The Boonville Council was chartered on November 26, 1905, by a group of dedicated Catholic gentlemen who envisioned its need in our Catholic community. It has endured through good times, a fire, loss of meeting places, lack of operating funds and other diversities to take its position in the year 2005 as one of the most active and successful fraternal organizations in the state of Missouri.
A big thank you goes to the charter members and those members who have worked so dilligently throughout the years. And a very special thank you goes to the immediate past and present Knights of Columbus who through their foresight and hard work have developed this outstanding Fraternal Council of the Knights of Columbus.
We are fortunate to have our Lake "B" property consisting of a lake, shelter house and open grassy area suitable for family picnics and gatherings.
Our Hall property on Radio Hill Road, obtained in 1992 from the Rod and Gun Club has been developed into a first rate Knights of Columbus Hall complex. Our outstanding council hall, surrounded by a large parking lot consists of a fine renovated kitchen, a large hall suitable for wedding parties and large gatherings, a separate area, the "Columbus Room" a two bedroom apartment and well designed meeting room. Outside you will find a well kept lake, shelter house, a first rate swimming pool, beautifully kept grounds and a three flag pole monument.
None of this was possible without the continued effort of our Knights and Ladies, especially when you consider the amount of time and work donated by them to various charities and needy organizations.
